Fse-smoke-reservoir-v1.svg (SVG file, nominally 900 × 600 pixels, file size: 8 KB)

Summary

The fixed curtain depth and changing smoke-layer depth determine when smoke can spill beneath the boundary. Based on Cooper (2002), pp. 3-219–3-221 and 3-229–3-230.

Original illustration for Smoke reservoir, level 3 Advanced.

  • Source basis: Cooper (2002), pp. 3-219–3-221 and 3-229–3-230. Create an original visual; redraw, do not copy source figures.
  • Alt text: Matching curtain sections show a smoke layer above the curtain edge and a deeper layer spilling beneath it.
  • Accuracy notes: Do not depict curtains as full-height compartment walls. Label the vertical datum consistently.
