Summary

Calculated temperature of a standard response sprinkler link in a 1,000 kW fire, without droplets and with liquid volume fractions of 1 and 2 millionths in the ceiling jet. Based on Iqbal and Salley (2004), pp. 10-15 to 10-18, and McGrattan et al. (2026), p. 107.

Original illustration for Sprinkler skipping, level 4 Expert.
